EPISCOPE

Under the IEE funded programme, 17 partners from European countries gathered in Darmstadt- Germany for the kick-off meeting of the project EPISCOPE on April 11th and 12th 2013.

In this project, a monitoring approach for systematic recording of actual retrofit activities of energy efficiency in partner countries will be developed. This monitoring will be undertaken based on the methodology which was developed during the previous project “TABULA”, in addition to the setting up and improving the national residential building typologies.

The strategic objective of the EPISCOPE project is to make the energy refurbishment processes in the European housing sector more transparent and effective with the aim to ensure that the climate protection targets will actually be attained and that corrective or enhancement actions can be taken in due time, if necessary.

The project will last three years and the reports and outcomes will be available to public.
