Reducing the thermal energy requirements in industry and with service providers

The "EINSTEIN" software tool enables strategies to be developed to reduce the energy requirements and also operating costs in companies, considering the heat recovery, process integration and intelligently combining economic heating and cooling supply technologies.

EINSTEIN introduces a holistic and integrated approach for thermal energy audits for the industry as well as for hospitals, office buildings or sports halls. EINSTEIN calculates the thermal energy requirement, evaluates the saving possibilities by heat exchanging assisted by the “Pinch analysis”, shows technical alternatives for integrating energy-efficient and renewable energy supply systems and also evaluates them.

The software tool gives specific figures for potential energy and economic savings that can be achieved by refurbishing the heating supply system. The alternatives incorporate all essential energy-efficient technologies (e.g. heat recovery, combined heat and power plant (KWK) and renewable energies).

The EINSTEIN software tool is available for download under the GNU GPLlicence. Everybody can participate in this development and share his/her experience with the EINSTEIN community.

You can subscribe to the newsletter, amongst other things, on the EINSTEIN website.
